The intellectual property rights cell co-ordinates the various activities of Intellectual property management of the institute and provides patent information as a vital input in the process of promotion of medical device development. The cell helps to enhance competitiveness by helping to create, protect and maintain IPR. The objective of the cell is to

a) To provide and foster a sustainable innovation ecosystem
b) To safeguard the intellectual property created
c) To protect the rights and dignity of inventors &
d) To promote technology transfer and public use of intellectual property.
